Hello world, my name is Pete “The Greek” Floros.
My wife is Joni and we are both retired USAF military. Joni was a base commander at Niagara. We both have karate backgrounds and I retired from law enforcement. Together we are embellishing novels on our careers and experiences. Our first novel is “Murder on Monkey Mountain,” which is actually the name of a mountain on the Son Tra peninsula in Viet Nam, and also the name of a mountain in the Ozarks of Missouri, where I was in law enforcement. This deals with a series of murders and arson for hire, by a corrupt mob boss, a fictitious Hades 1% motorcycle gang, our heroine Colonel Joni Abel, Base commander at Scott AFB, Big Chief (Cherokee), the Mo-Mo (Big Foot) creature and a host of interesting characters to keep you on the edge of your reading seat!
Our second finished novel, “Menace On Monkey Mountain” picks up where the first leaves off. We touch on the hidden treasure of the Jesse and Frank James gang. Hidden in a cave on Monkey Mountain. Big Chief “knows everything about the mountain.” The Mo-Mo guards this secret and more. A little love between our hero Sheriff Bull Toros and Colonel Joni Abel, and Joni’s secretary and Pete “The Greek,” a Pinstriper on the motorcycle rally circuit, (which is another of my personalities), reveals the hidden treasure. This one will keep you turning pages, I promise!
We have several other short novels. “Old Doc Franklin” which is a creative historical, of the Tennessee civil war period, and “A Time To Die” also of that period. Then a humorous one Joni wrote, “Yard Sale” which will have you laughing, guaranteed!
